The roles behind Atlas Q

Atlas Q is being designed and built by a small, focused team with backgrounds in architecture, security, compliance, and infrastructure. Titles here describe responsibilities rather than marketing labels.

Founding Architect

Architecture · Product Direction

Responsible for the overall design of the 11/11 IPFS protocol, from client-side encryption and QHASH manifests to residency pinsets and audit anchors. Owns the long-term product direction and the standard of technical quality across the platform.

Security & Cryptography Lead

Post-Quantum · Threat Modeling

Focused on the choice and application of post-quantum primitives, reviewing threat models, and ensuring that the protocol remains defensible as best practices evolve. Works closely with external reviewers as the system matures.

Compliance & Governance

HIPAA · GDPR · NIST Alignment

Translates regulatory requirements into concrete policies for residency, retention, audit, and access control. Ensures that the technical roadmap remains compatible with evolving compliance expectations.

Infrastructure & Operations

Deployment · Reliability

Responsible for operating the web tier, gateway, and pilot environments. Focuses on observability, performance, and disciplined rollouts that keep the platform stable while it grows.
